La realidad es que estos \u201cvienen\u201d de distintas formas y tama\u00f1os. Unos son tan grandes como un carro y otros tan peque\u00f1os (DE ADULTOS) que apenas alcanzan 1 o 2 pies de largo. S\u00ed, existen tiburones tan peque\u00f1os como un gato o un perrito. De hecho, existen tiburones aun m\u00e1s diminutos de lo que posiblemente ya te imaginas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La diversidad de tiburones en Puerto Rico incluye tanto tiburones extremadamente grandes, otros extremadamente peque\u00f1os, y varios m\u00e1s entre medio de ambos grupos. En el blog anterior (<em>LOS TIBURONES M\u00c1S GRANDES DE PUERTO RICO<\/em>) aprendiste sobre los tiburones que se encuentran solo a un lado de los extremos en tama\u00f1o. En este blog explorar\u00e1s cu\u00e1les son los que est\u00e1n del otro lado.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aqu\u00ed te comparto las especies que, a\u00fan siendo adultos, podemos considerar que son los tiburones m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os que habitan en nuestras aguas. Tambi\u00e9n conocido como Galludo boc\u00f3n, este tibur\u00f3n es tanto un depredador como un par\u00e1sito de animales tales como ballenas, delfines y otros peces m\u00e1s grandes que este.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hasta donde se conoce, en el mundo solo existen dos de estos galludos <em>cookiecutters<\/em>, y en Puerto Rico se encuentran ambos. A pesar de que la otra especie es peque\u00f1a tambi\u00e9n, no es lo suficientemente diminuta como para formar parte de esta lista. Sin embargo, el Galludo dent\u00f3n s\u00ed entra en los top 5. Tanto el Alit\u00e1n enano y el Tibur\u00f3n gato veteado tienen un tama\u00f1o m\u00e1ximo reportado de aproximadamente 1 pie de largo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El Alit\u00e1n enano, tambi\u00e9n llamado Tibur\u00f3n gato enano, y el Tibur\u00f3n gato veteado son dos especies de profundidad sumamente peque\u00f1as en comparaci\u00f3n con el resto de los tiburones que estamos acostumbrados a ver en la televisi\u00f3n y otros medios.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-palette-color-7-color has-palette-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-312bdd6ba84b5ae12ecfb49fe6b8517a wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Datos curioso<\/strong>: De los alitanes del g\u00e9nero <em>Scyliorhinus <\/em>que se encuentran en Puerto Rico, el Alit\u00e1n enano es la especie m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-palette-color-7-color has-palette-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-2c9a4ba3b61dfb9737fc4df6813f513e wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dato curioso<\/strong>: Los tiburones que actualmente se clasifican como tres especies distintas, cuyos nombres cient\u00edficos son <em>Galeus arae<\/em>, <em>Galeus antillensis <\/em>y <em>Galeus cadenati<\/em>, antes estaban clasificados como la misma especie: <em>Galeus arae<\/em>, nuestro Tibur\u00f3n veteado. Este tibur\u00f3n es tan peque\u00f1o que ni siquiera alcanza 1 pie de longitud. Aunque esta no es la especie de tibur\u00f3n m\u00e1s peque\u00f1a del mundo, s\u00ed es el tibur\u00f3n m\u00e1s peque\u00f1o de Puerto Rico\u2026 hasta el momento.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-palette-color-7-color has-palette-color-1-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-3fa020a7a07a8fbd7144bd857c2d315b wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Dato curioso<\/strong>: Se cree que los tiburones linterna verde andan en grupo para cazar presas m\u00e1s grandes que ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"is-style-wide wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a1Qui\u00e9n dir\u00eda que existen tiburones as\u00ed de peque\u00f1os! Estamos tan acostumbrados a pensar en especies grandes cada vez que escuchamos la palabra &#8220;tibur\u00f3n&#8221; que no nos imaginamos que hay muchos tiburones que se ven como los que aparecen en nuestra lista de arriba. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La realidad es que los tiburones forman un grupo sumamente diverso, y as\u00ed como hay especies enormes tambi\u00e9n hay otras muy peque\u00f1as.
